Starting from Haridwar, the journey takes you through scenic mountain roads to Phata, followed by a trek from Sonprayag to Kedarnath. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and a divine atmosphere, Kedarnath offers a truly unforgettable experience.

Pilgrims visit the ancient Kedarnath Temple early in the morning for darshan and seek blessings. The journey also includes visits to Guptkashi and Dhari Devi Temple, making it a complete spiritual experience.

Trip Plan

Your spiritual adventure begins as you travel from the sacred city of Haridwar to Phata, a peaceful Himalayan village. Enjoy a scenic drive through mountains and river valleys as the energy of the pilgrimage begins to build. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax in the calm surroundings.

After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag and begin your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a pony or doli, or trek on foot (cost not included). Reach Kedarnath by evening and check in to the shared camp accommodation. The peaceful Himalayan setting adds to the spiritual atmosphere.

Rise early for darshan at the Kedarnath Temple, one of the most revered shrines of Lord Shiva. After prayers and breakfast, begin the descent back to Sonprayag. Your vehicle will take you to Phata, where you can rest overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, head towards Guptkashi to visit the ancient Kashi Vishwanath Temple, followed by a stop at Dhari Devi Temple. Later, drive back to Haridwar. You’ll be dropped at the railway station, ending your journey with divine blessings and memories.
